On the evening of August 18, 2004 (Wednesday), Jeremiah P. Ostriker (U. of Cambridge, UK and Princeton U., USA) will talk to public about recent development of cosmology. The title is Heart of Darkness. Anyone who is interested in astronomy and cosmology is invited.

On the evening of the last day of the conference (August 20, 2004, Friday), there will be a special session. Six female participants, T. Clarke, L. Feretti, M. Johnston-Hollitt, H. Kang, and A. Olinto will speak to female students in high schools and colleges about their research areas. This will be co-organized with BWISE (Busan Women in Science and Engineering) to encourage female students to enter into field of science.
