Travel to Busan, Korea

- You are recommended to book flights all the way to Busan, Gimhae Airport (PUS). Travelers from foreign countries to Korea normally arrive at Seoul through Incheon International Airport (ICN). There are two connecting flights from Incheon International Airport (ICN) to Gimhae Airport (PUS) by Korean Air and another one by Asiana Airline everyday.
- In case you cannot use the connecting flights, you may use the shuttle flights between Gimpo Airport (GMP) in Seoul and Gimhae Airport (PUS), which are available in every 15 to 30 minutes from ~6:30 am to ~8:30 pm. There are several shuttle buses between Incheon International Airport (ICN) to Gimpo Airport (GMP). The bus itself takes about half an hour to one hour, so the conservative connecting time would be about 3 hours in this case. We recommend non-stop buses run by Korea City Air Terminal (bus stop 3B and 10B; 6,000 Won) and KAL (bus stop 4A and 11A ; 6,000 Won). For further information on shuttle buses, please visit the transportation part of the ICN home page.
- There are international flights between Busan and Tokyo/Osaka, Japan and between Busan and several cities in China. Participants from Japan and China are recommeded to fly directly to Busan. Others may consider an option to make connections in Japan.
- The conference will be held during a busy vacation season. We recommend the participants to make their travel plans as early as possible to get a good deal for airplane tickets.
